$200 covers tuition plus tutor costs

Tutors are paid every month as they work with the students throughout the summer as well. We pay the three tutors a total of $2040/year.

The three cooks prepare peanut butter sandwiches 3x/week and prepare the Saturday meal. They also obtain supplies and manage the kitchen.

This includes peanut butter sandwiches (bread, peanut butter) 3x week, the Saturday meal (rice, spices, and meat/bens, when available ), and juice mixes for drink.

There are five officers of the KoFAT Komite (organization). These community workers make home visits to all the residences, interview new participants, track health, well-being, and success of the students.

They also assure food supplies are available, complete the bookkeeping and planning, interact with works, manage the property, and are present at every gathering of the children.

This year we have been privileged to work with an Anonymous Donor who wanted us to “build the building” and “finish the project” – in what can only be described as a transformational change for the KoFAT Compassion project.  Read more >
