Discover the Heart of Thiotte and THVCR

Thiotte (Kreyòl: Tyòt) is a commune in the Belle-Anse Borough of Haiti's Southeast Department. Covering approximately 126 km² and situated at an average elevation of 956 meters, the commune lies in a remote mountainous region, making it the highest municipality in the Southeast and the sixth-highest in the country. Thiotte is known for its coffee production and is vulnerable to natural hazards, such as flooding. As of the 2015 census, its population was estimated to be around 35,000.
